Bacalar is a beautiful town located right next to an incredible lagoon, better known as the ”seven-colour lagoon”, thanks to its wonderful mix of shades of blue. During this expedition, we will have the opportunity to visit one of the most iconic places from the famous Caste War, fought between two antagonistic racial groups, “the Indians” and “the Whites”. We will visit Felipe Carrillo Puerto where the famous talking cross rests, a key symbol in the process of the above mentioned war.
We will arrive at the blue cenote, a natural wonder located at the entrance of Bacalar that’s surrounded by the jungle and vegetation, making it a truly spectacular view. At the end of this activity, we will do a tour to admire the lagoon of the 7 colours of Bacalar, and then we will set out for the centre of this magical town.

THE TOUR
In this expedition, we will explore one of the main natural attractions of the Mayan Riviera and the Yucatan peninsula, the cenotes. We will go a few meters underground to enter these natural formations, which, for the ancient Mayans were the roads that led to the underworld. The amazing thing about this expedition is to see how these constructions of stalagmites and stalactites have been formed over millions of years; they do not usually grow more than 10cm every thousand years.
We will have the opportunity to visit two underground caves, each one of them is totally different, taking into account that there are several types of cenotes, it is an experience that you will never forget.

THE TOUR
Cobá is one of the main Mayan archaeological sites in Mexico. Its history dates from around the year 750 B.C. This ancient Mayan city is made up of five main buildings with a network of interconnected roads, which facilitated the exchange of goods and services with the rest of the populations in the Yucatan Peninsula. One of the main characteristics of these ruins is the famous Nohoch Mul pyramid, with 120 steps that lead to the top where you can admire a view of the great jungle of the Riviera Maya from 42 meters high.

TULUM SNORKEL
THE TOUR
We will arrive to Tulum, an incredible archaeological zone built facing the Caribbean Sea, the only ruins in Mexico that offer a unique landscape in its category. We will make a guided tour to learn some of the most important details of the history and construction of this place. We will have some free minutes for photographic shots, enjoying the surroundings, relaxing and preparing to explore the depths of the Mexican Caribbean.
A few kilometers away from the ruins, we will head for one of the incredible beaches of the Mexican Caribbean: we will sail a few minutes to the reef and if we are lucky, we will snorkel with turtles and rays in their natural habitat through colourful corals and enjoy the privileged view of the ruins from the sea. We will finish this expedition with a relaxing afternoon at an exclusive Beach Club in the area where we will have a buffet lunch and a few free minutes, to make the most of the beach and the amenities of the place.
